Paranoid Park Will Open the Festival

Beautifully most bizarre work from the film portfolio of the American film director Gus Van Sant will open the Cinepur CHOICE Festival on Monday, December 1, 2008. The film PARANOID PARK (2007) will be shown as an officially first Czech preview in cooperation with the Association of Czech Film Clubs. The film has disgusted most of the audience. The critiques, on the contrary, won’t hear a word against it – if no one else then the editorial of Cahiers du Cinema, which declares the film among top ten most interesting films of the year 2007. At this moment, we are in negotiations of the possibility to invite the director, Gus Van Sant for the Czech preview.
