Cinepur CHOCIE festival is probably mentally connected with the magazine Sport. Just a few days before the official opening of the unique retrospective of the older works of the French director, Claire Denis, Sport released a DVD with a film called Miluji tě k sežrání (I Love You To Eat). This bumpkin translation covers the director’s film Trouble Every Day (2001), which was Claire Denis’ only film that was bought for the Czech audience in the past. Saturday’s issue of Sport from November 22 thus published a “complimentary reading” to the festival retrospective. We will introduce all the unknown works from the 35mm copies, including Claire Denis’ debut Chocolate (1988) and Friday Night (2002)
