The violinist George Van Dam performs a passage from Bartok’s violin sonata. The sound track of the film is fluent and uninterrupted. Disconnected image is telling us, though, that the author Manon de Boer edited the film using several attempts of the violinist to achieve the perfect interpretation of the piece. The Dutch artist and filmmaker Manon de Boer (*1966) lives in Brussels.
