PERSONAL EXPERIMENT IN ART

The works from Czech experimental directors will dominate two evening screenings on Friday and Saturday in Brno’s cinema Art. Friday screening of the program section of experimental road movies Notes form Travels (Zápisky z cest) will be livened up by personal visit of Martin Jezek, who will present two of his works Kontralicht a Zimní válka (Winter War)– from the 8mm projector. Saturday screening of Novosti dnja (News of the Day) will be introduced by its director, Ondrej Vavrecka. The audience may thus see a moderated author’s vision of his work, shot in Russia during two years. Novosti dnja will be presented in the Big Hall of cinema Art, 6 December at 6:30pm.
